I just got VirtualPC v7 for the Mac. Knoppix 3.7 w/2.4 kernel works just fine. Knoppix 3.7 w/2.6 kernel halts at detecting NIC. Both boot from an ISO image that I have on the hard drive.
Ubuntu is being installed right now under VPC. There are a couple of minor issues that I'm tracking and will write more about later.
As for Kanotix, got the ISO on the hard drive. As soon as Ubuntu finishes, I'll fire it up.
