CORRECT!  I use AT&T Worlnet 
When configuring KPPP setup I use the funky numerical id and numerical password 
to log in.  It works fine.  My ISP suggest that I use Chap.  Also you
may need to ask
your ISP provider for the primary and secondary DNS digits and set
that up in your
hardware configuration.
