I've been playing a lot lately with Kanotix, and it's pretty darn impressive.
One feature in particular that I really like is that when you plug in a USB
mass storage device, Kanotix automagically detects it, mounts it, and
displays an icon on the desktop. I presume this is being done with autofs.

When I downloaded and installed the new Libranet 3 yesterday, I was
disappointed to find that autofs does not appear to be included. So I have a
few questions for the wise folks on the CWELUG list.

1. Am I missing something? Is autofs (or the equivalent) in fact included
somewhere on Libranet 3 (I'll be really impressed if anyone on this list can
answer that one!)?

2. Has anyone successfully installed autofs on the new Libranet (or on the old
Libranet, for that matter)? Or on Debian?

3. If not autofs, is there something else I should be investigating?

Thanks, y'all!

Scott
