I do aplogize all for not responding sooner, the FreeBSD 4.4 did find the Xircom modem and ehternet card. I also need to clearify my last post with regard to the /etc/modems configuration data base file. The AT commands that I found for the card [ EMULATION drivers ] are really DOS AT commands, they were not included in the /etc/modem DB file and I dont know if these commands will work. I have not configured the /etc/ppp/ppp.conf, or any of the network parameters. I am using NetZero dail-up as my ISP and would like to know if anyone has used this ISP.
