Possibly. I'd have to explore that option.
Why not two commands? Performance?
Because the number of commands is proportional to the number of
folders. For two folders, two command is not a big deal. For 1000
folders, that seems a waste, especially if something as simple as a
shell file pattern catches all cases. And performance, too. For
each command ssh needs to initiate a new session.
