each laptop has different keys for doing this in hardware. LInux may or may not react properly when pressing the keys. if you have both monitor and laptop setup to work at the same time in Xwindows i think X resize and Rotate (XrNr) will allow you to use or not use each but I haven't tested this myself. KDE has some configs for multiple screens that use xrnr. look in Periperals -> display - -- JT Morée PC Xperience, Inc. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFDfzRZucZ4lMT2d5IRAipNAJ4rSYlYUrJ3WR/WiyQN6dJfSCn7PACdGBUt W1VT0NygDTt7rLfbhSav5fs= =myEB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
