Interesting JT - so why would this ByteWorks employee find
refurbishing old computers with MS Windows easier than Linux? I s he
just basing it on his experience with two instances of unsupported
hardware? I don't see how he is gonna get older printers and modems to
work if he does not have the CD with the drivers? For all it's tedium
at least CUPS has all the drivers and you can go to one place
(linuxprinting.org) and see if your printer is supported.
