There are basically three places for your public key:

1) your own account (user.sourceforge.net)
2) CVS (cvs.sourceforge.net)
3) the compile farm

For CVS, posting your public key requires a few steps:

1) login to SF[1]
2) click on "Account Options"[2]
3) scroll down and click on "Edit SSH Keys for Shell/CVS"[3]
4) post your id_dsa.pub key in the text box and click "Update"
5) wait 10 minutes and you should be good to go

'CVS_RSH=ssh cvs up' and 'CVS_RSH=ssh cvs ci' work just great.

BTW, I figured out the above steps by just hunting around. Are those
instructions anywhere on the SF site? I looked at the link Ed
posted, but couldn't find anything but background information about SSH.
