In our Apache logs, we sometimes see a second POST happening on the end of an e-commerce transaction. It is as if the user hit the submit button twice. The second extraneous post always has a byte size of 0.
In the logs you see two POSTs to the same page, with the same IP, time. One has the correct bytes returned, the next line has 0 bytes returned. 2 questions. Has anyone seen this before? Could the user's PC be infected with a virus? And in your web application, how can you detect this? Thanks Ed -- Ed Howland WDT Solutions, LLC.
