Very nice.

Although the book focuses on using DrScheme, I've tried a few  
examples with guile, an OpenSource implementation of Scheme found  
available for Linux, and they seem to work.

For example, from section 2[1]:

guile> (define (area-of-disk r)
   (* 3.14 (* r r)))
guile> (area-of-disk 5)
78.5
