I'll explore that to see how they did it. For my immediate problem, someone kindly provide this link: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=81280 from there I went to here: http://bootcd.narod.ru/index_e.htm then to the Bootable CD Loader v1.50Z: http://bootcd.narod.ru/bcdl_e.htm and downloaded it: http://bootcd.narod.ru/bcdl150z.zip I unzip'ed it and dd'ed it to a floppy: dd if=bcdl150z.ima of=/dev/fd0 On reboot it booted from the floppy and then the CD. So, it worked great. Although, I'm still curious to know why grub didn't work. Regards, - Robert http://www.cwelug.org/downloads Help others get OpenSource software.
