Thanks, JT. The Linux+ clue pointed me in the direction I wanted to go. Found several books at Amazon, too: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/?field- keywords=linux%2B At ByteWorks we teach kids basic computer skills. I just wanted to provide them a reference of where to go to next. So, I was curious to know, what is the next step? After a quick search it seemed as though A+ seemed like an obvious choice since they learn only the very basics of hardware. However, A+ is heavily DOS/Windows slanted. So, I was just wondering what else was out there, something with a Linux slant (or BSD or any other FLOSS OS). For our board, benefactors, and other stakeholders, continuity is very important.
