Or samba.  Our Windows admin already did some magic so that at least  
some (possibly all) of our non-private shares are available via a web  
interface.  For example, \\server\share\folder can be browsed via  
http://server/share/folder.

MS Office-type documents and few others (PDF, Illustrator, etc.)

I believe we did a count once and it was about 90K.  So, with giving  
some wiggle room, I'd say about 200K will serve us for a while.   
Apparently, Google mini maxes out at 300K.  Personally, I think that  
most (80%+) of the documents will be old junk.  But there will be a  
few golden nuggets.
