Has anyone here installed Ubuntu PPC on an external FW drive? Did it work for you?
I tried to install Ubuntu PPC on an external FW drive. It seemed to work except for installing the boot manager, yaboot. A quick googled showed that other people have had similar problems, but I haven't found any solutions, yet. I imagine all I'd need to do is to boot with the CD and somehow manually install yaboot.
