They've been having a major outtage this past weekend/few days, resulting in my sites going down for long stretches at a time. Also I found hosting stats site that scans popular hosts for downtime, and Dreamhost downtime has really spiked in June and July -- not a good sign as they brag about breaking the 300,000 user mark. (Sorry, can't find the link right now, but hit me back if you want it.) I love Dreamhost for my personal sites, but for this client I need 99.9% uptime -- it would be bad if we launched this new site only to have the host go down a day later (as Dreamhost has been intermittent these past few days.)
