At ByteWorks we've been using Debian/Sarge with the 2.4 kernel. We'd now like to start using the 2.6 kernel. Can we upgrade Debian from a 2.4 kernel to a 2.6 kernel using apt-get, or would it be more advisable to reinstall Debian, specifying 'linux26' at the boot prompt?
