Hello all,

How does one get a list of all the packages installed on a system,
specifically Ubuntu?

Currently, I use this pipeline:

dpkg -l |
tr -s ' ' '\t' |
cut -f2 |
tail +6

It works, but wondered whether there was a "cleaner" way. A skim
through the man page did not show anything obvious.

Regards,
- Robert
