I'm trying out sshfs for the first time and I'm running into an issue I
can't resolve or find a solution for.

>From my laptop (Ubuntu 6.10), I try mounting my desktop (Debian Sarge)
with this command:

sshfs [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/ /media/desktop

I'm prompted for the password, just like I would if it was a standard
ssh connection and press Enter. No error messages.

Then I try changing to the mounted directory and that works. I try
listing the contents of the directory and I get an error:

ls: .: No such file or directory

Looking at the directory listing, I see this, with all the question
marks:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/media$ ls -l
total 12
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    6 2007-01-16 01:42 cdrom -> cdrom0
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 2007-01-16 01:42 cdrom0
?--------- ? ? ? ? ? desktop

I'm able to unmount w/o any issues:

fusermount -u /media/desktop

I'm also able to ssh to each computer w/o issues.

Any clues?

thanks,
sean
