I have not used one, but they do look useful.  Can't imagine why they
wouldn't work with linux as it's just a USB storage interface.  The
only bummer is that they are SATA-only.  Otherwise we could use them
for cloning at ByteWorks.

BTW, Scott posted a similar link about drive blocks about a month ago.
