Anyone here playing with Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2)?

If you are not familiar with EC2, it's like a hosted version of VMware
or VirtualBox. Actually, that is exactly what it is, except that
Amazon has chosen to use Xen.

After about 6+ months of focusing on other things, I've been dabbling
with it, again. Apparently, Amazon has added several features since I
first started playing with it, including pre-built Ubuntu AMI's
(Amazon Machine Image, Amazon's version of vmdk's or vdi's, sort of.)

The next cwelug meeting is this coming Sunday, January 4th. If anyone
has played with EC2, I'd love to pick your brain or swap experiences.
If you haven't played with EC2 but are curious, I'd be happy to walk
you through getting started.

Regards,
- Robert
