I've been using a cable to connect my phone for a while, and when I do that, I have 3 options, at least one of which makes the phone look like a normal digital camera or external USB drive. I've been stuck with Nokia Desktop (on the third option), which is Windows only (didn't work with a Parallels VM when I tried to update firmware, and was extremely slow on other operations. After the attempt to update firmware, the replacement phone had a cable included) I would love to be able to get away from the Windows requirement to backup my phone, if this works. Using a cable gives a lot more options than the normal BT method, at least on my Nokias, and I'd like another option.
One down side. My "new" Nokias and my older Nokia use different cables, even though they have the same pop-port connector. Other accessories are compatible, data cable isn't. Nuisance. --Don Ellis On Wed, Dec 31, 2008 at 5:19 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi Robert, > I think it is possible to use Bluetooth with Bit Pim.
