If this works out, I really like the idea of using free software.  I would
like to be able to assure the church (or any organization who would
accept them) that software (including OS) licensing would never be
a concern, issue, or liability for them.  I wonder if anyone has done
a custom ubuntu distro for the G3 (would a custom kernel be
necessary?)  Debian seems to support the most architectures.  Perhaps
a light Debian install with LXDE or something similar would work.
