Bleachbit resembles Ccleaner for Vista/XP in that it will get rid of temp files and cookies, (and even old icon view file for photos you've deleted) for many of the programs you use in Linux. "Installation packages are ready for 18 Linux distributions-versions including CentOS, Debian, Fedora, Mandriva, openSUSE, Red Hat, and Ubuntu."
It's quick and thorough. You can download the latest version from http://bleachbit.sourceforge.net. I think it's in the ubuntu repositories but I just clicked the update icon on the program and got the latest version. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Central West End Linux Users Group (via Google Groups) Main page: http://www.cwelug.org To post: [email protected] To subscribe: [email protected] To unsubscribe: [email protected] More options: http://groups.google.com/group/cwelug -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
