Haven't tried it, but it would be a cool way for people to collaborate
on building a custom Linux install for a group.  Say three persons A,
B, and C in geographically separate locations on real machines 1, 2,
and 3, respectively, want to build an image.  Person A can work on it
for a while and sync.  Then B and sync, then C and syn, etc.   Once
finished, they could have person D download it to machine 4, which
could be anywhere in the world.  You would no longer have to have four
people in the same room at the same time.

Naturally, this would require a bit of coordination, but the concept is there.
