I am looking for a way to setup a mail alias (or similar) with the following properties:
1) mail sent to the alias gets distributed to a number of people 2) if any one person replies to a message sent to the alias, then the message appears to come from the alias and not from the individual 3) mail sent via the alias is automatically CC'ed or BCC'ed to the other people on the alias Sample case: a customer sends an e-mail to the [email protected] e-mail alias. That e-mail gets copied to persons A, B, and C in the foo group. When person B responds to the customer, the customer sees the e-mail as coming from [email protected] and not from person B. In addition, person's A and C get a copy of person B's reply automatically. I've gotten close using gmail. I can do everything but part 3, which I currently do manually by including the alias in the BCC. Is there a way to do step 3 with gmail? Is there a better solution for the whole process?
