OK, I've started the process of creating the St. Louis Google Technology Users Group. It's mission: "The St. Louis Google Technology Users Group enables local developers and users to get together to network and discuss, demo, and hack on Google's services and software."
I've registered a domain name (stl-gtug.org), signed it up with Google Apps, & created a Google Group for email discussion. You can sign up for the email discuss list at http://groups.google.com/group/stl-gtug . Next step is setting up a website, which I'll work on later, although I may use Google Sites just to drink the koolaid. Please feel free to sign up & start the discussion, & pass this along to anyone else who might be interested. In a few days we'll start talking about face-to-face meetings. Tks, everyone! Scott -- R. Each of us comes for a short visit, not knowing why, yet somehow seeming to divine a purpose. From the standpoint of daily life, however, there is one thing we do know: that man is here for the sake of other men - above all those upon whose smiles and well-being our own happiness depends." ---Albert Einstein --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Central West End Linux Users Group (via Google Groups) Main page: http://www.cwelug.org To post: [email protected] To subscribe: [email protected] To unsubscribe: [email protected] More options: http://groups.google.com/group/cwelug -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
