Why do you think it sucks? > I think Blam! recently got revitalized. I'm pretty sure Liferea has > been strong for quite awhile. Straw might get revitalized. I haven't looked at Straw in a LONG time, but back in the day its dependencies were outrageously complicated, so I bagged it. The ONLY reason I started using NetNewsWire on my Mac - and the ONLY reason I'd use ANY desktop RSS reader - is integration/synchronization with Google Reader (or any other online feed reader). I want to be able to access my feeds from anywhere, from any browser - if everything is locked up on a desktop somewhere, that defeats my ability to do so. Which is why I mentioned Gregarius & Fever, 2 web-based readers you host yourself, for those inclined to go that direction. Scott -- R.
