I did (see above, where I say "if you specify 5.4 in the path, you still get the same error"). Note that the error is not that it can't find the image file, but that "The CentOS installation tree in that directory does not seem to match your boot media." and that only after it seemingly downloads the stage 2 image. > Also, try it with and without a leading and trailing slash: > > Path: /centos/5.4/os/i386 > Path: centos/5.4/os/i386/ > Path: /centos/5.4/os/i386/ Tried it multiple ways.
