Sounds kind of similar to the bing / bing! issue.

A domain owner has been threatened with a lawsuit by a well financed
company.
These are the facts
The alleged squatter has used the domain in a public but low key
manner.
The purposes of the domains are different.
The 'infringing' name shares several syllables with the company
domain, but the words used in the domain names do not carry similar
meanings, nor are they likely to be used interchangeably in the same
contexts.
There were plans to change domain names and ongoing discussion.
The large company changed position and demanded that the domain
be transferred without compensation.
The 'infringing' domain has not attempted to confuse sites or to
divert traffic from the corporate site.
The person who owns the domain does not have resources for the
fight, but is willing to offer an interest in exchange for legal
services. Is there any organization that might take a look at this?
