Talking about Ubuntu, Lucid 10.04 is coming along nicely. The latest
UNR release worked out-of-the-box on the Asus EeePC 1005HAB I recently
got:

Anyone else trying Lucid?

Here's a bit of code to help download the UNR release:

touch -r MD5SUMS MD5SUMS.ts
wget -N http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-netbook/daily-live/current/MD5SUMS
[ MD5SUMS -nt MD5SUMS.ts ] &&
grep -o lucid.*iso$ MD5SUMS | while read iso ; do
  zsync http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-netbook/daily-live/current/${iso}.zsync
done &&
ls *.iso | grep -f - MD5SUMS | md5sum -c -
rm MD5SUMS.ts

Adjust the URLs for your favorite releases from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/

Regards,
- Robert
