Well, I just formatted the 8 GB card that was in it and at 720P at 30fps
it says that it can record 2 hrs 10 min. At 720P at 60fps and 1080P at
30fps it's 1 hr 30 min. Not sure why anyone would record at 60fps unless
they wanted a half speed slow-mo. It works great for its purpose, but I
don't know that I would recommend it for something important like a
wedding. I did just get a Nikon Coolpix P100 that also takes HD video. I
believe regular 1080p and 720p clips are limited to 30 minutes per clip.
I got it cheap at $229 at Costco because it was the last one they had
and an open item, but I haven't tried video with it yet. I can try it
and let you know how well it works if that might be an option for you. I
bought it to take stills and for its 26x optical zoom and more control
over the shutter and aperture. It will be much better than the Pentax
that I have, but I can't afford a DSLR.
