You didn't ask me, did you? (or Scott, or Robert)

I was using a Mac to access Unix command lines on a project in 1987. In
1992 I used a Mac command line product (Programmers Workbench?) to issue
commands concurrently in MacOS (pre-X), Unix, and Windows. In 1995, I
installed a Unix(r) command line interface in MacOS 8. I had been waiting
for a CLI on the Mac for years, and finally had one with Mach Ten (the
company was assimilated when OSX came out).

Yes, I know you don't need a CLI, but I like having one and the things I
can do with it. I also appreciate the Commando interface used in Workbench
and AUX, which expands the CLI into a dialog box when a hot key is pressed.
Would be nice if the NeXT crew had seen that when they came aboard.
