When installing or upgrading Debian packages, the history.log captures
the start-date, end-date, command, and packages affected. For
example:
$ zcat /var/log/apt/history.log.10.gz | cat -n
1
2 Start-Date: 2015-04-09 10:09:40
3 Commandline: apt-get install tree
4 Install: tree:amd64 (1.6.0-1)
5 End-Date: 2015-04-09 10:09:42
Are those timestamps in UTC or local system time? Does anyone know
what setting to modify so that the timezone offset is appended to the
timestamp?
