Hi Anthony,
I was actually having some issues with the binary build ("ImportError: No
module named util"). Your tip about renaming util.exe fixed me right up though,
thanks!
Sorry I didn't come across that in my searches for help before coming to the
mailing list. I did find this link which is why I was trying to build it
myself:

In any case, it seems to be working perfectly now on windows 7.
Thanks so much for your help and your hard work on this project. It is truly
appreciated.
Thanks again!
Ty

Subject: Re: [cx-freeze-users] issues getting setup on windows 7
Hi,
I have generally been using mingw (http://mingw.org) for 32-bit
machines as I am not a user of Visual Studio. For the 64-bit builds I
have been using the SDK. That seems to work so I'll have to see if I
have different results than you. Note that I have no access to Windows
7 at work and no intention of buying a copy at home either so I can't
test on your behalf -- that said, the prebuilt binaries should work
for you. Do they? Or are you having difficulties there, too? Note that
because of one bug in the 4.1.1 release you need to rename the
util.exe file to util.pyd before actually using cx_Freeze.
If you poke about and find the answer to your problem, please let me
know! I'll be happy to modify setup.py as needed in order to get this
work for those people using Visual Studio.
