You should have received the same error on Windows since the same code
is in place! Could you provide me with the setup.py you are using?
Which version of cx_Freeze you are using? You should not have received
that error -- there is code that is supposed to check that
include_files and zip_includes are either tuples/lists of length 2
(source, destination) or a single element which is assumed to be both
source and destination. I'd like to know how you got around that. :-)
