My apologies, I had made a mistake in thinking that the issue was resolved
with 3.4.0b1, it appears I was in fact compiling with version 3.3.x still,
which works fine. 3.4.x continues to not work, with the same error message
and crashing as mentioned earlier in the thread. Sorry again for the
confusion and the multiple posts.
