Hi,

It is indeed merged and is found on the default branch. I haven't had much
time available recently to work on this project so it has languished. There
is still the pull request from Thomas regarding packages and some
reasonable way of handling the way Ubuntu patches its Python version to
consider before making a new release. That said, I hope to have more time
in the next few weeks. If you can build yourself, then you can have it
immediately; you can also request it directly from me if you can't build
and you need it sooner than that. :-)
