It's quite similar what we had in cxf

From a developer's point of view, it's great to have just one API

Yes, I know, JAX-WS is challenge enough. And, JAX-RS (JSR-311) is in early days yet. No formal spec. However, the SWDP "RESTful" api and runtime already exist. SWDP RESTful is clearly the "reference" for JSR-311.

Is there a plan for a CXF runtime/frontend for JAX-RS? (As opposed to my just deriving one on my own from the jaxws or simple frontends, and then hacking some code for it.)
