Do you mind update the CXF-871, and provide another patch, include the 
'-keep', and assign it me?
I doubt the patch still be able to be applied, it looks too old :-P

"Don't overwrite any previously created files." is clearer, I think.
Also, while you are doing this, could you review CXF-871[1] and get it
out of the way before it gets too old?  There are not many changes at
all in it.
