I just checked with Jim Jagielski and he basically confirmed that CDDL stuff cannot be checked into the public SVN repository. We can ship it as part of our product tars/zips, but we cannot have it in the svn repo.
Jervis: please start hounding the jsr311 folks to get it into a public maven repo someplace.
