Benson (and who else it may concern),

I happened upon this message of yours in the rhino group:
http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.dev.tech.js-engine.rhino/browse_thread/thread/e3144e836647bd6a/add0b941654c1906

We've developed a web-proxy that modifies web pages into something
that looks pretty on cell phones and other small-screen devices. This
proxy supports some "proxy side"-scripting via Rhino, with all sorts
of useful features. However, we'd also like to be able to invoke web
services. Naturally, we'd like to leverage some existing framework in
that regard and I went looking for an open source XMLHTTPRequest
implementation for Rhino, which is how I found your message above, and
this had me thinking that maybe CXF, with its new-fangled (or
upcomming) JavaScript support, might be all we need to pull this off.

I know that JavaScript in CXF is pretty new, but I think if I can just
support the XMLHTTPRequest object, then that would be a pretty good
start. So I went looking for you implementation in the CXF code base
but i couldn't find it.

Maybe you've pull it out of, or never really included it in, the CXF
source? If you have it somewhere, then I'm interrested in knowing
more.

I'm also interrested in hearing about how far you are with the
JavaScript support in CXF, and whatever other relevent thoughts you
might have. :)
