I have not played TRC in years but am willing to relearn. Like you, I can't
wait to dust out the old favorites and start playing again. I am looking for a
opponent in The Civil War (Victory games) as well. Bob S

Subject: [CBML] Hello, I'm new

<Salute> to all of you old grognard wargamers out there in
cyberland as well as novices. I just discovered cyberboard by
accident during a search for information on Avalon Hills "Breakout
Normandy" game.

So far i have downloaded the lateest cyberboard software(3.02)
and the game files for "The Russian Campaign" as that is one of my
favorite board games from years past. All i can say is WOW, THANKYOU
Dale for developing this assistance program & THANKYOU Eric for
running this board for everyones enjoyment.

I have a very large collection of boxed/magazine wargames dating
back to 1973 & numbers in the hundreds and would definetly love to
get back into a few of them via this venue.

I have read a few of the help text files and will be playing a
game of TRC solo to get a grasp on what's what but i do have a
couple of questions to ask of this group;

Is there a "master" list of gamers active & what games they are
interested in playing, kinda like an opponents wanted list?(i
couldn't find one)

Would anyone be interested in playing TRC with me(I'm damn good)

Once I'm up to speed using this program, I'd love nothing more
than to "Game Master" a doubleblind version of "Flat Top" with multi-
players on each side as i still consider FT to be the creme de la
creme in this respect.

Thoughts & comments welcome

Respectfully, Vix
