So, after almost one year I found out by happenstance how to fix the glitch mentioned below. It has nothing to do with CyberBoard. It seems that Microsoft in its infinite wisdom decided to change a lot of default stuff from one XP service pack to another, and, depending on what version your computer runs, you need to access (or download) an utility called Tweak UI, then go to the Taskbar and Start Menu tab and enable balloon tips. VoilĂ . If your machine has no Tweak UI, you can download it here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/c/a/fca6767b-9ed9-45a6-b352- 839afb2a2679/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe. It's just 147 kb. (I don't know about Vista, though).
I thought I'd post the solution here in case anyone has a similar problema in the future. Sorry for any wasted time/band. ;-) --- In [email protected], "paolomigliacci" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I recently copied all my Cyberboard files to a new PC, including some > ongoing games, and found out that the object tips and the ownership > tips don't work in the new machine, for any of the games.
