Frank, Assuming you are using CBPlay.exe, and have correctly generated a "New Game", it might be simply this: you have to "Select" some Units or Cards for the "Action Menu" to be "active." To select units, you can either: 1. Click on a unit. It will be highlighted on the map, and it will also appear in the Unit Display window on the right-hand side. 2. Click-drag a selection box around a stack of units to select the stack. 3. Ctrl-click individual units within a stack to select particular untis. If you select a wrong one, Ctrl-click to de-select it. Once units are "selected" you can use the Top Line "Action" menu, or the click on the "Begin Plotted Move" or "Begin Compound Move" Icons along the top to initiate moves and actions. Also, once units are selected you can right-click on the map to pop up a context menu with all the Action options available. Bill
