In that same area for CBPLAY you can for 'creating a new scenario' put a 'select all' and 'clear all' box in the SELECT GAME BOARDS option as well as the ones you added in the CREATE TRAYS FROM PIECE GROUPS section. Should not be to hard to add this (at least I hope its not) and again speeds the process of designing new scenarios for certain games (especially the larger stuff with multiple pieces and multiple map (or whatever) choices).
