Interesting. I recently purchased an HP Mini to provide me with something a little larger than my PDA for go-anywhere Internet access, and this application seems to fit right in with why I bought it. Thanks for the inspiration, John!

I'm using CB alot on my netbook (MSi 100) to record AND set up FtF games, mostly Here I Stand lately. It's amazingly handy to be able to look at a picture of a scenario setup, especially in a multiplayer game where the other folks have the scenario folder in hand, so you'd be waiting otherwise, and anyway the picture is faster. It's also FANTASTIC for recording FtF games, especially long ones like HIS or TNW, where the piece count on the board is relatively small. Interestingly, I haven't had to do this much lately, because at the end of an evening, we've decided that the game is well enough concluded (an evident future winner) to not bother to save it for another day, but the benefit of the option to easily record the game is there nonetheless, in that we'd probably not have even started the game for an evening's play unless we felt we COULD record it if it was unfinished and uncertain of conclusion. I've used CB lots for PBEM games, especially with the ACTS site, but I'm finding this a terrific new use, with the advent of cheap, super-portable netbooks.
