If a shortage of routing space drives us out of business, take umbrage in the fact that a helluva lot of bigger bozos than the cyber cafes will be going down much deeper sink holes.  Just be ready to sell stock short.

Please delete me from this friggin' list.  I am at my wits end.  I have tried to go through majordomo to remove my name automatically twice, I've read the "help" screens, and most recently I inquired as to which lists I am signed up for with Majordomo . . . and it said none.

Getting off this list has been the biggest pain in the rear.

Would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Win2000. Aaaargh.
"NAT thingy" best description yet. I am not well versed with Win2000 but I presume the "NAT thingy" is similar to the NAT thingy on WinNT ?
We will hopefully be using Linux but still keeping options open where ADSL is concerned and although I am definitely not a fan of Microsoft, if it works, then it may be the way to go.

Sounds very cool though, when visiting some of my relatives near Bristol early next year I would love to visit.

With regards to the games licensing, I promised Lee I would give him some info and have still not got round to it. I have contact names and telephone numbers for most of the relevant software houses and I am also aware of their ideas/rules regarding licensing. Will try to remember to bring info in tomorrow for both of you, although Lee will have to pay me 10 as I'm feeling nice today aswell. Hiya Lee.

NB. PC Format magazine is prepared/edited from Bath and they agreed to give us some free publicity when we got up and running with Unit1 on the West coast. As we have not got our act together yet, they have had no reason to plug us.
It would be worth speaking to them; particularly if you are offering LAN gaming.

Wishing you a successful all the best.

Regards

DaveS

We've got a 2-Mbit 20-1 ADSL line It's pretty cool actually =) been pretty
good for use though the testing so far. ICQ works fine though the NAT
service provided by Win2000 we havn't had "extensive" play testing yet to
see how well the NAT thingy works. But we will be offering gaming (games
licensing is still a bit of a problem though) and getting hold of CD'keys.
Does anyone know a way of bulk buying cd keys from software houses..?

Anyways, come have a look if you've got the time =) it's pretty cool! (we're
going to be competing against the Abbey National/Costa Coffee thing
soonish.. kinda scary)

catch you laters

What ADSL service will you have in the Caf and does it allow multi-user LAN
gaming over the line?
