I hope attachments are appropriate in this group.  Lee, I fed your html into frontpage2k and when I did a “preview in web browser” it came up fine (which is the attachment).  If you have frontpage express you should be able to imbed the html easy enough.  JSky

Don’t know that I particularly care for the games aspect.  At this time we smoke and BBQ various meats and serve a few side dishes.  Sodas and such are also available as well.  We’re considering a variable rate based on time of day 24/7 with a discount for those desiring a monthly membership fee.

Sorry, Lee, the HTML didn’t come across.

we're running flat rate access, and making snacks, drinks etc proportional higher too...

for this to work you do have to have high density of machines.... (pack them in!)

in fact the next project I will do I will have a sushi style conveyor belt, with yummy food a snake

slowly crawling past each surfer, hopefully, they won't be able to resist when the snacks go by..

you just take you plates to the conter when you finished, internet access is free by the way. ;-).

(yes, I am crazy...)

I hear internet access ..well actually lan gaming is getting popular, my mate paul sent me this report

(I have spies (friends) around the world ;-) gheheheh).

Nuff of that, thought i'd give you a few insights on cafes over here, I know you're getting a venture up and running soon. Internet cafes are massive in Malaysia & Singapore but its not for people surfing the web or checking the e-mail. They are all playing netgames. They are all set up to play either Lan games with each other in the cafe or playing netgames over the web. I even saw an entire cafe of 40 machines playing the same game. Serious money to be made me thinks as you can't get the same buzz as playing at home. They are so popular they are thinking of banning them in Malaysia (Muslim Country) as school kids are skipping school to go to the cafes.

Skipping school to play computer games, they'll never get anywhere!!
Ha Ha!!

Well must dash now as i've got to go and meet Charlotte from her interview. Hope the info is useful and keep in touch.

Hopefully a group I'm talking to at the moment will give me some cash for my next project....

I'm getting fresh Idea's all the time, must be  all the alcohol I've been drinking ;-)

Cheers,

Lee

(p.s. this html may or may not work....please tell me if it don't :-) )

Hi there list-folk,
I'm opening a small cyber cafe in East Texas, am new to the list and, after
lurking a bit, finally decided to come out of the shadows and see what ideas
ya'll might have regarding various fee structures.  Hourly, time of day,
discounts with membership, etc….what seems to work best and what doesn't?  Any
help you can offer is most appreciated.

Thanks,

Sky
