The Easyeverything chain is run as a seperate entity to the airline even
though the bright orange advertising of Easyjet looks the same.
The policy on pricing is that you can surf unlimited from £1. That does not
mean it will be £1. This price is dependent on the amount of people wanting
to use the service. They also generate revenue from the cafe part of the
business and from the additional computing services they provide; print
outs, downloaded Napster files etc. (a large percentage of the users visit
for use of the music site)
In one years time, when the new Napster regulations come into effect, then
the popularity of Easyeverything will wane somewhat but unless they can
regulate all the other similar sites to Napster, then there may be less of
an impact than expected.
A recent financial report has shown that the chain is ahead of expected
forcasts on its break even date and due to the unexpected popularity and
larger than expected usage of its facilities they expect to break even this
or next year which is about 2 years ahead of schedule.
The difference between Easyeverything and most (probably all) of us on this
list is ££££. If any of us list members had several £million burning a hole
in our pockets, then we would probably be viewed as the corporate monster.
