paul,
we are using Enterasys Access points and RoamAbouts as well as Dlink 713,
650, 500 and 120 devices. Note that the dlink 120 has had serious trouble
connecting to the enterasys access point (it can't).
I have not tried the roamabout pcmcia on the dlink 713, but everything else
seems to interconnect.
the enterasys access point covers two floors at 2500 sqfeet each from one
antenna on the first floor.
the 713 does less well, but has a nat and firewall built into it. note that
gaming is hard from behind the nat and the firewall is not all that
configurable.
i have no other real data and no ideas about short cards...
regards
bill
